Questions Raised:
  1. What is the name of Jacob's nemesis?
  2. What are Jacob's nemesis's intentions?
  3. What is Ilana's relationship to Jacob before he visits her?
  4. Why is Ilana bandaged?
  5. What is in Hurley's guitar case?
  6. Who does Jacob mean when he says "they are coming?"
  7. What happens after Juliet detonates the bomb?
  8. Is Juliet dead?

Answers Given:
  1. What healed Locke? From this episode, we can assume that Jacob healed Locke for his own purposes.
  2. How does the Island heal? It seems Jacob heals who he sees fit.
  3. What exactly happened in the incident? The Incident was caused by Dharma drilling into a massive electromagnetic pocket.
  4. How does Richard Alpert not appear to age between Ben's childhood and thirty years later? Jacob has blessed him with the ability not to age.
  5. Why does Jacob not like technology? It seems to simply be a personal preference, but now doubt has been cast on the assumption that the reaction to Locke's flashlight was Jacob.
  6. Where are Rose and Bernard? Rose and Bernard have been living in the jungle for three years, not wanting to join the Dharma Initiative.
  7. How does Locke instinctively know where the Monster is? Locke is not truly Locke, but Jacob's nemesis.
  8. Why did Ilana and Bram ask Frank "what lies in the shadow of the statue? Ilana and Bram knew that who knew the answer would be someone they could trust. Richard replies with "Ille qui nos omnes servabit" which translated means "He who will protect/save us all."
  9. What is in the crate? Locke's body.
  10. Why is Locke intending to kill Jacob? Locke is really Jacob's nemesis.

Why would Jacob want to have healed Locke?

Also, can we really assume that Christian was Jacob's nemesis? Christian's body disappeared, but Locke's didn't. It would make sense if Jacob's nemesis took Christian's form for appearing to Jack and Claire (even though we don't know why he did), but why would he appear as Christian to Michael? Also, why would he tell Locke to "say hello to my son"?

On an unrelated note, have we ever figured out how the Dharma initiative found (or why the want to be on) the island? (Actually, have we found out how Mrs. Hawking found it, and what was up with that church?)

I think there was another question raised.

Who is the "one" in the shadow of the statue who's going to "protect/save" everybody?

Good work here as usual!

And good points Anon. But maybe Christian's form/appearance was used by both Jacob and the man in black. I doubt it tho, because CS says to Locke that he speaks for Jacob and that *might* mean that it's the MIB just telling a lie, like perhaps he's told to the Others many times, when they thought that they were speaking to Jacob and were actually speaking to the MIB. ???

s for the DI: In the TLE ARG, if it's a part of it that we can believe, Hanso told "us" that he formed the DI to work on the secret secluded island for saving the world by working out the solution to the Valenzetti Equation. If that info is not to be actually transferred to the show, I suppose the DI were just working on secret science projects in general, due to the island's special properties. :-)
